As per the latest information, the government of West Bengal recently identified a total of 22 lakh migrant workers from all across the state. Now the government is taking so many efforts for them to distribute Gramin Job Guarantee Cards to them to provide them with job opportunities in their own village near their home.

Higher-rank officials, the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, issued a notice to all the District Magistrates of the state that after identifying the citizen as a migrant workers issued them the “Gramin Rojgar Guarantee Card. After getting this card, the citizen will be able to get work opportunities under the VB-G RAM G scheme.

Now they no longer need to leave their own state to find work in any other state, and now they can live with their family.

Objective of Gramin Rojgar Guarantee Card

The main objective of launching the Gramin Rojgar Guarantee Card for the Migrant workers of the state is that the government provide them work opportunities in their own State. We all know that due to a lack of Jobs in the state, citizens are forced to leave their families and state and then have to find jobs outside the state.
