West Bengal PM Surya Ghar Yojana: 5 Lakh Solar Rooftops to Be Installed by 2027

One By one CM of West Bengal implemented all central Government scheme in the state, after formation the BJP Government. Now people of the West Bengal also eligible to get the benefits of the Scheme which are launched by the government of India with the name of Prime Minister. It is really happy news that the Central Government announced Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Yojana now officially implemented in the West Bengal to provide the subsidy benefits to the people of the state.

All the citizen of the West Bengal who are interested to get the benefits under PM  Solar Rooftop Yojana, they all get subsidy amount of Rs.30,000 to Rs.78,000, which can be given after the successful installation of the rooftop solar panel and the subsidy also depend in the capacity of the panel.

Household Residential Who Can Installed Rooftop Solar Panel?

• Every individual household residential of the West Bengal state will be eligible to take part in the scheme.
• You have the clear ownership of the residential home and also having rooftop for installed the solar pane,.
• Every individual having valid domestic electricity connection in their residential house from WBSEDCL or CESC.
• To show your ownership of the house and connection with the electricity department of the state, get subsidy in the saving bank account, but name must be same in both i.e. in Bank account and Electricity connection.

• Consumer electricity bill showing the Name of the applicant, complete address and number.
• Aadhar Card always required for verification.
• To received the Subsidy amount have to submit Bank passbook Details with cancelled Cheque.
• Kindly submit the Ownership Proof of Roof also house where you wants to installed the solar panel.
• Category certificate because SC/ST Category can claim bonus amount of Rs.15,000 from state government.

Application Process For Rooftop Solar Panel Under PM Surya Ghar Yojana

• In First step before apply for this scheme, every eligible citizen need to registered on the portal as consumer and then started their application process.
• When you complete the registration, then have to fill the application and then submit.
• Your application is went under approval and official also check your location for solar ready.
• Applicant also have to select the vendor of your area, list be will available on the portal and then choose best vendor to installed the system.
• Then Vendor come to your house and then installed the rooftop panel and then submit his report for the installation to the officials.
• After submitting the report, officials inspect the site and then certify your work of the rooftop solar installation and then submit the report to project commission.
• Now you can request for subsidy and them subsidy amount will be approved and disbursed to the applicant in their account.

How to Apply For West Bengal PM Surya Ghar Yojana?

1^st Step : Open the official website i.e. pmsuryaghar.gov.in and then click on the Consumer Link.

2^nd Step: In the consumer option you have to click on Apply Now.

3^rd Step: The Login Form open in front of you, you have to Enter the Mobile number and solve the Captcha Code.

4^th Step: Now have to verify with OTP and then registration Form open  here and you need to enter the details like State Name, District Name and then enter email id.

5^th Step: Save your form and complete your profile.

6^th Step: Select The Vendor Name and then apply for the Solar Rooftop. Enter the Discom, Consumer Id and then submit form.

7^th Step: Wait for approval and then enter your bank account details to received subsidy and vendor Name also.

8^th Step: vendor install the panel and then your details will be submit and verification done by the DISCOM.

9^th Step: Officials of the DISCOM conduct inspection and submit their report and then at last consumer get subsidy.
