West Bengal Oasis Scholarship 2026-27
Recently, this Oasis Scholarship Portal has opened for the academic year 2026-27 for the post-matric and pre-matric scholarships for the eligible students of the state of West Bengal. All the students of West Bengal who are permanent citizen of the state and their education institution also inside the India will be eligible for the scheme. Their family income should also not be more than Rs.2.50 Lakhs. The scholarship amount can be disbursed directly and credited to the bank account of the students.

What is meant by West Bengal Oasis Scholarship?
So, the Oasis is the online portal of West Bengal that belongs to scholarships of the state. This time, the portal is live to accept the online application form for 7 scholarship schemes. There is no need to apply separately for each of the schemes. There are only two categories, i.e. Post Matric and Pre Matric School Students Scheme. You just need to fill the form, and the scheme which is suitable according to your class, category and eligibility, the benefits of that scheme will given to you. Pre-matric means students of 9th and 10th class. But the Post Matric scholarship starts after class 10th, i.e. for 11th to PHD level.

Eligibility Criteria for Students
- You must be the Bonafide residents of the state.
- You are a student and belong to a reserved category like SC, ST and OBC.
- The family annual income of the students can be Rs.2.50 Lakhs per year. But there is no income limit for the Component-II schemes.
- Your institute, school or college must be available in India.
- Having your own bank account to receive the Scholarship amount.

Scholarship Amount

- Physical Submission of Form along with Documents
OASIS Scholarship Students Registration
- Need to visit the oasis.gov.in online portal.
- Now have to click on’ Student Registration ’.
- Start selecting the details like your college, school district and then submit.
- Now have to enter the Caste or category certificate number on the verification page with the date and time of issuing the same certificate.
- Have to enter the Captcha Code and then enter the Aadhaar card number again.
- Enter the other basic details and then generate a password.
- In this way, you successfully register yourself and create your account.
OASIS Scholarship Application Form Process
- Using your registration number and password login in to the account.
- It is compulsory for students to fill all the columns that are marked in red.
- Need to enter the rest of the information, like your account details and income details and complete the verification by generating the OTP.
Submit the Form with Documents
- Have to take the application printout.
- Attach all the documents, which are self-attested, and then submit them in the BDO, DWO and other office of your area within 15 Days.
