West Bengal Janatar Darbar for Public Grievance Redressal: Date, Location & Timings

To solve and provide quick solutions to grievances, the State Government of West Bengal launched its new program, which is known as “Janatar Darbar which is also known as a public hearing. The information about this has been given by the Chief Secretary, Mr Manoj Agarwal. During the introduction of this program, he also directed all the field-level officials at all district and block levels to conduct the public meeting. This meeting can be held twice a week. To hear the problems and complaints of the general public in the state, the government of West Bengal introduced its new Janatar Darbar to address them quickly. Not only that, if you want to file any kind of complaint directly to the Chief Minister’s Office, you can also use their newly launched portal, i.e., the CMO Portal.

So the Janatar Darbar is held twice a week, i.e. Tuesday and Thursday, in their government offices, and they also make sure to solve all the public complaints quickly. Anyone can attend this meeting, because there is no registration is required before visiting here. Any citizen who has any kind of complaint or problems, they can attend this Janatar Darbar without any registration.

With the help of this General Public Hearing meeting, the citizens of the state will get the opportunity to submit their complaints directly to the  Government official directly and get quick solutions.

WB Janatar Darbar Timing, Date and Location

As I already told you, this program is held two time in every week. The same can be conducted in the concerned government offices of the field-level officials, i.e. District and Block Level. They all need to meet the public every Tuesday and Thursday. It will start on the same days from 10.30 am to 1.00 pm every day.

Highlights of West Bengal Janata Darbar

Officials	During this meeting, the officials who attend the meeting are the District Magistrate, Municipal Commissioners, BDO’s, SDOs, and Police Officers. Every time this program or general public hearing meeting is held, all these officials have to remain available. They don’t need to attend any official program or meeting to be present.
Information Available On	Every time and when the same program is going to be conducted, like Days and timing, and the mobile number of the officials, the same will be available on the government office notice board or also available on the Chief Minister’s Office Portal.
Upload on Portal	All the complaint records will be recorded online on the Chief Minister’s Office Portal, which is also known as Apnar Sarkar Apnar Pashe. So that all the offices can also check the progress of their complaint.
