West Bengal Durga Puja Ration Festive Package: Items List & Eligibility

In the festival season, or during the Durga Puja festival, the West Bengal Government is going to provide the Special Ration Festive Package to the 2 Crore families of the State. Under this new West Bengal Festive Package, the government offers ration items at a 50% subsidy.

This announcement has been made by the Chief Minister of West Bengal, Suvendhu Adhikari. This Ration Festival Package has an allocation of 150 Crore Rupees. Which means by giving the same ration items on subsidy which reduces the actual cost of the food items to all eligible families of the state of Bengal in the festival season.

West Bengal Durga Puja Ration Festive Package

The CM of the state of Bengal announced the new ration kits with the name of Durga Puja Ration Festive Package. In which the essential items will be distributed to the 2 crore families of the state at 50% subsidy cost through the state-run Fair Price shop with a rationing system. These Ration Festive Package items will be distributed during the Durga Puja Week.

Durga Puja Ration Festive Package Items with Price List

In this Durga Puja Ration Festive Package, the items that are going to be offered by the government are flour, sugar, and Suji. All these items will be available to families in West Bengal state at 50% subsidy cost. So, from the list, you can check the price list.

How to Collect the Durga Puja Ration Festive Package?

As per the announcement the three essential items at 50% of the subsidy will be distribute total 2 Crore eligible families of the state. This means they only have to pay half of the price of the items. The same package will be distributed through the rationing system at the Centre of Festival Benefits program.

Distribution Schedule	The distribution of the packages is scheduled for the Puja Week. It means that, as and when the items are available, distribution will be done
Distribution Place	The same package items will be distributed through the PDS ration outlets, i.e. Fair Price Shops of the Bengal Government, before and during the Festival Season
Mode of Distribution	The items are distributed through the rationing system

Durga Puja Ration Festival Package Distribution Date

As if we are talking about the current status of the package going to be distributed by the government, the flour and sugar tender is already processed and complete. But the Suji tender is still in process. So as and when the tender of the Suji will be completed then all three items will going to be distributed through Ration Outlets.

Till date, the distribution is not available. The same items are going to be distributed before and during the Durga Puja.  

Eligibility Criteria

• All families who have a valid ration card and also linked with their Aadhaar card.
• For one Ration card, only one Package will be given.
• It is also important to undergo a verification process which means at the time of visit to the ration shop, you need to undergo with the finger print authentication.

Documents List Required

• Valid Active Ration card of West Bengal
• Aadhaar card of any family member who visits to collect the Ration Items.
